How to Buy a Suppressor (Silencer)

Buying a suppressor is much easier than most people expect. If you can legally own a firearm, and suppressors are legal in your state, then you can own a suppressor.
While the implementation of ATF Rule 41F on July 13, 2016 did add a few new hurdles to jump, Black Ankle Munitions is here to guide you through the process so that you understand the new requirements.

Process Overview

To purchase a suppressor, you can either file as an individual or as an entity (e.g. a trust or a LLC).

If you purchase as an individual, you will be required to complete the following:

If you purchase using a trust, all responsible parties will be required to complete the following:

If you do not already have a trust, we recommend purchasing one online through 199 Trust . Once you have purchased the trust, it will be emailed to you, and you must have it notarized. There are numerous advantages of the trust, such as being able to add a spouse, child, or whomever onto the trust so in the event something was to happen to you, they can still legally possess the item.
