Advanced Armament Co Shim Kit, 5/8×24

The Advanced Armament Co Shim Kit, 5/8×24 for barrels with 5/8×24 threads is composed of six different shim thicknesses for the purpose of properly timing a muzzle device on the barrel. This offers a far greater degree of precision than that of any crush or peel washer while also being faster and less labor intensive to install correctly.

Each shim is color coded according to its thickness, and multiple shims may be combined and used together, if necessary, in order to acquire the exact thickness required for proper muzzle device orientation. The graphic on the packaging details the thicknesses and identifying features of the shims included with the kit.

*Note: Always place the thickest shim(s) on the barrel first.
